Join Our Team as a Sewing Machine Operator in Fort Smith, AR!

Are you a morning person who loves to sew? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for working with your hands? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We're looking for a talented Sewing Machine Operator to join our team on the 1st shift, working Monday through Thursday from 5:45 am to 4:15 pm.

What You'll Do:

  • Get Hands-On: Perform set-up and adjustments on sewing machines, wind bobbins, and replace needles as needed.
  • Material Master: Use your extensive knowledge of sewing materials to ensure top-notch operations.
  • Quality Control: Stay alert for any product imperfections and report them to your supervisor or lead.
  • Safety First: Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and the equipment.
  • Team Player: Take on additional duties as assigned and work closely with your team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Ideally, you have two years of work-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: You're comfortable using hand tools and have basic math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a strong attention to detail and can shift priorities as needed.
  • Teamwork: You work well with others and can effectively communicate with employees and management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Active Role: You'll be standing, walking, sitting, and using your hands to handle objects and tools.
  • Flexibility: You'll need to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally lift/move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision: You'll need good vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
