YMCA CAMP SILVER BEACH
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide essential food services including preparing, cooking, and serving all menus.
This is a seasonal, stipend-pay position at $250-$375/week depending on experience; lodging and meals included.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Thorough, safe, food preparation

Implement menus during summer camp to satisfactory levels

Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards

Maintains positive relations with parents and other staff. Models relationship-building skills (including Listen First) in all interactions

Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High school graduate or equivalent
-
Previous experience working in a food service establishment
-
Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: resident camp food service, banquet food service, large scale catering
-
At least 18 years of age
-
Previous experience with diverse populations preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:

May be required to walk, stand, kneel, and stoop.

Continuous operations requiring attention to detail and multi-tasking.

Must be able to lift, pull and move up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
