POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages the registration process for childcare programs.  Performs various administrative tasks, maintains records, and produces reports.

GENERAL SCHEDULE:  40 hours per week.  Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Manages the registration process for participants in UPK and childcare programs.
  2. Communicates and develops positive relationships with parents. Provides billing and registration information, answers questions, and provides solutions to problems. Responds to all inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  3. Maintains records and files in compliance with Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) regulations.
  4. Maintains office equipment.
  5. Develops and maintains positive relationships with school administration.
  6. Gathers and inputs data, produces reports, and maintains records.
  7. Performs various administrative tasks to support program directors and site coordinators, such as coping documents, logistics for special events, ordering program supplies, etc.
  8. Attends and participates in all staff meetings and training sessions.
  9. Carries out other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Two years of administrative experience, preferably in a childcare program setting.
  2. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  4. Ability to identify problems and find acceptable solutions.
  5. Experience working with diverse populations.
  1. Competency using Microsoft Office software.
