PRODUCTION - Demand Planner

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, material supply inventory and converting that information into a viable production schedule for our salty snacks product lines. This role is critical to ensuring that we meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on customer information, historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather input and insights for demand planning.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and production capacity to adjust forecasts as needed while maintaining an efficient fixed production schedule.
- Identify and communicate potential demand risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Implement and utilize demand planning software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on demand forecasts and inventory status for management.
- Participate in the development of production schedules to align with demand forecasts.
- Continuously improve demand planning processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related role within the food or consumer goods industry.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
