We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, material supply inventory and converting that information into a viable production schedule for our salty snacks product lines. This role is critical to ensuring that we meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing waste.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on customer information, historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather input and insights for demand planning.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and production capacity to adjust forecasts as needed while maintaining an efficient fixed production schedule.
  • Identify and communicate potential demand risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Implement and utilize demand planning software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on demand forecasts and inventory status for management.
  • Participate in the development of production schedules to align with demand forecasts.
  • Continuously improve demand planning processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related role within the food or consumer goods industry.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
