Position Overview:
As a Weekend Admissions Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring new residents and their families feel welcomed, supported, and well-informed as they transition into our community. You will be responsible for coordinating the admissions process, facilitating tours, and ensuring a smooth move-in experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver facility tour presentations to prospective residents and the admissions team, showcasing WHC’s features, benefits, and services.

• Ensure that residents and families feel welcomed and settled on admission day, handling move-in details including notices, billing, room readiness, and other logistical aspects.

• Lead orientation sessions for new residents and their families/friends, which includes facility tours, gift baskets, and follow-up on additional needs.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in social services, nursing, or a related field.

• Experience: Prior healthcare and customer service experience is desirable. Nursing or social work experience is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills experience is preferred.

• Comfortable with personal computers and word processing software.

• Must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license.

• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

• Knowledge of medical insurance benefits is a plus
