Requirements of a Senior Director of Human Resources:
-
Master's degree in Human Resources Management or closely related field preferred.
-
Minimum of five to ten years supervisory experience in human resources.

(Preferred) SHRM/PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification
-
(Preferred) Human Resources experience in a health care setting
-
Effective oral and written communication skills.
-
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
Responsibilities of a Senior Director of Human Resources:

Lead HR Strategy & Operations: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with company goals, ensuring a positive workplace culture, legal compliance, and operational efficiency.

Employee Relations & Performance: Guide managers on employee performance, conduct, and disciplinary actions, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.

Policy Development & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures, collaborating with compliance officers and legal counsel to ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.

Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation structures and employee benefit programs, including wage scales, retirement plans, and benefit programs.

Recruitment & Staffing: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from job requisition to onboarding, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent. Work closely with the Human Resource Business Partners and Business Partners to hire qualified candidates in accordance with staffing demands.

Employee Training & Development: Ensure employees meet all required training and licensure.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about labor laws and ensure all HR functions comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including workplace safety and wage laws.

Employee Performance Reviews: Manage the performance review process, providing support to managers in giving constructive feedback and facilitating career growth.

Leave & Worker Injury Management: Oversee FMLA, LOA, and worker injury programs, ensuring timely communication and compliance with related policies.

HR Technology & Reporting: Leverage HR technology and data analytics to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.

Benefits Administration: Oversees the administration of employee benefit and retirement programs.

Support Leadership Team: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on all matters related to HR strategy.

Personnel Records & Audits: Ensure all personnel records are maintained according to legal requirements.

Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in HR processes, utilizing best practices, emerging trends, and automation to enhance the employee experience.
