Role Overview:
We’re looking for an accomplished Director of Sales to drive membership growth, and elevate Fortified Life as the go-to solution for individuals seeking affordable, long-term care alternatives. This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for building relationships, developing and executing sales strategies, and leading efforts to grow our customer base. What You’ll Do as the Director of Sales:

Drive Membership Growth: Lead and execute sales strategies that deliver maximum membership into Fortified Life. Your focus will be on expanding our reach, increasing market penetration, and building brand awareness within the Cedar Valley and beyond.

Lead Sales Process: Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to closing new members. Ensure a seamless, positive experience for all prospective clients.

Strategic Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer to create targeted campaigns and sales materials that drive leads, awareness, and brand loyalty. Be a key player in shaping Fortified Life’s digital and traditional marketing strategies.

Build Referral Networks: Establish and nurture relationships with key referral sources, industry professionals, and community partners. Position Fortified Life as the trusted provider of long-term care solutions.

Identify New Business Opportunities: Continuously scout for new avenues of growth, including strategic partnerships, market trends, and emerging opportunities to expand Fortified Life’s reach.

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that not only meet but exceed their expectations.
What We’re Looking For in the Director of Sales:

Bachelor's degree in finance, communication, marketing, business or related field.

Sales Leadership Experience: You have a proven track record of success in sales—ideally with at least 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role. Experience in financial services or long-term care insurance is a plus.

Proven Closer: You know how to take a lead from initial interest to membership, using a consultative approach and closing skills that turn opportunities into long-term relationships.

Financial Acumen: You’re comfortable discussing financial topics and can easily educate potential clients on the value of Fortified Life’s offerings. Previous experience in financial advising or life care planning is highly valued.

Tech-Savvy: You’re proficient in tools like G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems to manage leads, track progress, and report results effectively.

Driven and Results-Oriented: You’re self-motivated, goal-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You’re comfortable working toward aggressive targets and consistently exceeding expectations.

Exceptional Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you’re able to clearly articulate value propositions to a wide range of audiences.

Relationship Builder: You excel at networking and building long-lasting, meaningful relationships with clients, referral partners, and internal stakeholders.
