Quality Lab Technician, 1st Shift

Lab Technician 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

· Capable of maintaining laboratory records
· Perform weight loss and stability testing protocols
· Write clear technical reports
· Capable of learning the technology of various packaging technologies
· Apply scientific methods
· Maintain calibration of lab equipment
· Assume special projects as directed by the Supervisor
· Follow Safety/GMP/GIP guidelines
· Flexible work schedule to cover for vacations/sick leave
· Work overtime as needed
· Maintain an Annual Performance Evaluation Rating of Average or better.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

· Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
· Customer focused; Must be flexible in dealing with others in the organization, and with work assignments/projects
· Must be capable of both creative thought and deductive reasoning
· Self-organized
· Self-motivated; Ability to work independent of supervision
· Team player; Participation on Plant Continuous Improvement (CI) Process
