A Brief Overview

The Line Mechanic C is responsible for independently operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment on a designated production line. This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met while supporting efficient production operations.

What you will do

• Operates all equipment on at least one production line, ensuring target weights, torques, and product quality are maintained. Completes required documentation.
• Troubleshoots minor mechanical issues during production, including equipment timing for bottles, caps, labels, sleeves, cartons, bundling, and shippers.
• Performs changeovers for all equipment on one production line and achieves 75% output efficiency after startup.
• Conducts preventive maintenance on all designated packaging equipment, maintaining proper care and cleanliness.
• Maintains a clean and safe production line or work area while enforcing plant safety, GMPs, SOPs, and policies.
• Assists with equipment sanitation and cleans packaging equipment when required.
• Supports packaging line operations by handling materials and replacing operators temporarily, as needed.
• Adheres to standard line speeds or better to achieve production goals.
• Some duties may vary slightly by location.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Required)

Experience Qualifications

• 1-3 years operating and maintaining packaging equipment in a manufacturing setting. (Required)
• 1-3 years with changeovers, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. (Required)
