Summary 

 

We are currently seeking a bright motivated individual to join our organization as a Business Development Intern (BDI). The BDI’s primary responsibility will assist with a range of tasks in support of our rapid growth as well as supporting existing customers. The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable conducting online research, building and working with spreadsheets, and assembling PowerPoint decks. The BDI will be inquisitive and unafraid to ask questions.

 

The role will report directly to the Regional VP of Development and Accounts but will also regularly interface with senior leads from different disciplines within the company, including operations, marketing, accounting and finance.

 

This is a part-time, non- exempt, position located in Boston, MA.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct research on market opportunities.
  • Assist with data mining and consolidation of existing research.
  • Help support our sales and account team in their work with current and prospective customers. 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program focused on business studies, environmental science, or other relevant study area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team towards a goal.
  • An ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
