Job Summary:

This person will be the “Face of Veritex”, and the first impression guests/clients will experience when visiting our Executive Office. They will need to have excellent customer service skills.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

  • Answering phone calls, transferring callers as appropriate
  • Greeting customers and visitors to the office, ensuring guests are comfortable and are connected with the right office personnel
  • Managing schedules for conference and community spaces
  • Monitoring and ordering inventory for office and break room supplies
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, mail and packages
  • Filing and organizing records, invoices and other important documentation
  • Submitting work orders and scheduling repairs for general office space and equipment
  • Ordering repairs for office equipment and maintenance, connecting with and escorting vendors
  • Maintain and manage vendor relationships (copier, food service, property manager, etc.); evaluate potential vendors and compare pricing when necessary
  • Perform basic filing and clerical duties
  • Support all lines of business as needed
  • Assist with tasks for event planning and execution
  • Attention to regulatory requirements and compliance training applicable to position (Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Information Privacy ETC)
  • Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information are essential.

 

 

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel and PDF programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong attention to detail is critical and must be demonstrated.
  • Must be punctual and reliable. Ability to greet customers in a friendly manner
  • Maintain a positive and helpful attitude in any situation
  • Actively identifying opportunities to contribute beyond assigned tasks, proactively proposing solutions, and taking action to address issues without needing constant direction
  • High school degree combined with previous administrative experience.
