Summary of Position: 

The Intake Specialist is responsible for supporting the intake and uploading of projects into VRM. This role is a crucial link between the company’s operations staff and the Health Plan Request Team. This individual is part of a coordinated team that communicates with internal and external clients and vendors, to facilitate the successful completion of audits from intake, production planning, processing, and release. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Facilitate the Audit process by shepherding incoming audit requests throughout their full lifecycle to include client/vendor communication, data entry, fee schedule management, and internal tracking/forecasting 
• Attend weekly requestor calls addressing pipeline and production plans 
• Maintain inbound high-volume requestor spreadsheets to ensure workable inventory list is current 
• Monitor the Audit Inboxes to resolve tasks and provide general customer service 
• Partner with ROI department to ensure completion of requests is done accurately 
• Manage communications in a professional manner consistent with identified standards and metrics 
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and requestors 
• Performs other duties, as assigned, to ensure effective operation of the department and the Company

Minimum Qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required 
• Must possess strong logic, problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Able to multi-task, and use numerous resources to ensure facility protocols are followed 
• Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume & fast-paced environments 
• Desire to improve process to create sustainable robust systems 
• Technically savvy with Microsoft Excel skills required 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and capacity to build effective relationships with co-workers and clients 
• Strong level of patience to resolve issues
