Record Retrieval Manager

 

Summary of Position:

The Record Retrieval Manager will report to the Vice President of Health Plan Performance and will be responsible for leading data acquisition processes for medical record retrieval projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This role will also focus on client management, project delivery and reporting.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Health Plan Performance to develop and lead data acquisition processes for medical record retrieval projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practice
  • Manage quality assurance programs to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Support day-to-day operations, including managing vendors and service providers, and assist with project management
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests
  • Manage the customer implementation process, ensuring required fields and forms are submitted on a timely basis
  • Manage the project intake process, ensuring the underlying database is optimized with accurate information and enriched with the results of successful retrieval
  • Oversee the parsing of the project file to appropriate internal departments, other third-party vendors and the provider outreach center
  • Assist in building out and leading a team from implementation to operations
  • Perform other duties, as assigned, to ensure effective operation of the department and the Company

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in data acquisition and management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage quality assurance programs
  • Strong project management skills, including vendor and service provider management
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in building and leading teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
