Position Overview:
We are looking for an entrepreneurial program manager to oversee the Business Leads Fellowship Program and programming in the K-12 education portfolio. Your main priority will be overseeing the learning of business leaders and providing resources for them to best support the education and workforce pipeline in their communities. As you grow into your role, you will partner with senior staff to develop and execute programs focused on K-12 education.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the Business Leads Fellowship Program, including recruitment, scheduling, in-person and virtual meetings, collection of best practices, and continuous network engagement.
- Develop and distribute regular communications, including premeeting information, surveys, and announcements.
- Work with senior staff to plan in-person and virtual convenings of senior business leaders on education and workforce issues.
- Work with a team to build and maintain a solutions library for best practices across the education and workforce pipeline.
- Partner with senior staff on the development of new programs and initiatives for the Business Leads Fellowship Program and the K-12 education portfolio.
- Support relationship building with business leaders who are interested in engaging with the Business Leads Fellowship Program.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience; a minimum level of education is not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM (or similar platforms with a willingness to learn).
- Entrepreneurial spirit to develop programs and continuously improve them.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills with the ability to multitask, set, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Passion for helping people and building networks of engagement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with K-12 education policy and a passion for improving student achievement.
- Ability to track current events, policies, and best practices in K-12 education.
- Flexibility to travel domestically.
The salary range for this position is $53,240.00 to $66,550.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
