What you’ll do:
The Key Account Move Manager is responsible for managing the planning and execution of household goods or logistics moves, ensuring efficient planning and service support. This role serves as a key liaison between transportation service providers, agents, clients, and internal teams to optimize move logistics, monitor performance, and resolve service challenges. With a focus on move distribution, policy compliance, and problem-solving, this position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Acts as the liaison between agents, transportation service providers, clients, and internal departments, facilitating clear communication across all stakeholders
- Supports vanline agents in quest to secure new business
- Consistently interacts with UniGroup members to stay engaged in the sales solicitation process
- Monitors shipment progress and identifies potential service risks
- Maintains and distributes accurate records in multiple operation systems, ensuring timely documentation of move details, service milestones, and financial approvals
- Analyzes move requests and distributes shipments based on origin/destination, agent capacity, service capabilities, and shipment size, while optimizing equipment utilization; this includes interpreting client relocation policies to ensure alignment with requirements as required
- Negotiates with agents and service providers on order assignments, schedule changes, and unique move requirements
- Tracks and analyzes key operational metrics
- Ensures financial accuracy by conducting audits, validating move estimates, and obtaining approvals
- Provides feedback and insights on operational challenges to enhance efficiency and customer experience
- Conducts quality control monitoring, which may include tracking and documenting service issues, and coordinating resolutions to uphold service standards
What you’ll bring:
- High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of related experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset—able to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Composure under pressure and resilience in challenging situations
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive, self-starting approach
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to change
- Strong customer service and collaboration skills, with experience communicating effectively via phone and email
- Previous experience in a role with an accounting or cash-handling component (e.g., bank teller) is a plus
- Proficiency in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
