HRIS Administrator

About this opportunity:
The Salvation Army of Texas is looking for an energetic HR professional that wants to bring their HR experience and passion to an organization that is at the forefront of meeting the needs of our communities. Reporting to the Divisional HR Director, the HRIS Administrator will be a pivotal member of the HR Team in guiding and serving our 1,300 employees.
Key responsibilities:
- Based in our Texas Division’s HQ, this position will administer the various HR systems within the Texas Division and provides training and support to all users of these systems.
- Spearhead the transition to a new HRIS this year.
- Designs and generates HR reports as needed.
- Identify and implement effective and efficient processes in conjunction with the HR systems.
- Audits and reviews databases for accuracy and compliance.
What we are looking for in you:
- A servant heart, that looks at HR as a way to serve employees within the framework of systems, policies, and compliance that are required of all HR professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related field.
- Two (2) years of work experience administering and managing HR Systems is required.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
- Experience with Paycom is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
This is not a remote position and the HRIS Administrator will be required to be in the office for at least four (4) days each week.
