Location:  Camp Hidden Lake, Lexington, Mississippi

Position Type:  Temporary Full-Time

Pay Rate:  $300.00 per week

 

About this opportunity: 

Assists in the preparation and serving of meals; coordinates the cleaning of the kitchen and dining area; maintains inventory.

 

What we are looking for in you:

  • Six months experience working in a kitchen preferred,
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications

None.

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to observe children and youth and ensure their safety. Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting. Works is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.

 

Additional Information

Camp Staff Orientation will be held 06/09/2025 – 06/13/2025 and full participation is required.

 

The 2025 Summer Camp program will be held 06/16/2025 – 07/19/2025. The anticipation is for every staff member to work the entire summer and is the only way to receive a bonus.  If you are unable to work the entire program session, please let us know on your application.
