The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Boys and Girls Club Community Center Program Aid for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Atlanta / Peachcrest, located in Decatur, Georgia.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of Boys & Girls Club Program Director, Employee will shadow and assist in providing youth service programs and maintaining cleanliness and order of property.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to observe children and ensure their safety. Ability to use/operate general office equipment, playground equipment, recreation equipment and computer. Ability to build and maintain effective mentor and professional relationships with children and youth. Ability to communicate effectively with children and club staff.




Education and Experience

High School Student on track to graduate or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.






Licenses and Certifications

None


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Good Character, personality, and appearance. Ability to follow directions. Ability to meet attendance requirements.
