Building Maintenance Worker/ Custodian
Location: Chattanooga Metropolitan Area Command – Chattanooga, Tennessee
Position: Regular Full Time Building Maintenance Worker/Custodian
Pay Rate: $17 per hour
About this opportunity:
Performs routine repairs and maintenance of buildings and equipment; performs minor painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repair work; loads and unloads merchandise as needed; Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure neatness and cleanliness; maintains vehicles; runs errands.

What we are looking for in you:
Education and Experience High School diploma or G.E.D required. And Two years of experience in handling minor repairs and good skill in the use of hand and power tools and performing custodial duties Or Any equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Certifications Must have a Valid Driver’s License. |
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Manual dexterity
- Work requires the ability to lift and carry and push/pull heavy (50-100+) lb.) materials, supplies, and equipment frequently. Heavy mobility: duties are usually performed by combinations of standing, walking, climbing ladders or steps, bending, reaching, or transporting merchandise on a frequent change basis, relieved by fewer periods of sitting or operating a vehicle when traveling.
