Program Development Project Manager (Part-time)
Location: Territorial Headquarters, Atlanta, GA
About this opportunity:
This position is part-time and assists Program leaders and stakeholders in planning, documenting, exploring, developing, and implementing new program development projects and initiatives for the purpose of growing, improving, and expanding program resources, reach, approach, and audience touched by Salvation Army programming with the goal of attracting future generations and covering the gap for legendary resources with the overall purpose to strengthen and advance the mission at the Corps level for a strong future.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitates discussions with program leaders and stakeholders to support new initiatives; facilitates and documents project goals, objectives, and timelines.
- Assists program leaders in identifying and prioritizing current program assets and successful practices and also in conducting a needs assessment or quality improvement assessment for desired program initiatives.
- Collaborates with program development partners, monitors their progress, and leads the selection and negotiation of resources.
What we are looking for in you:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field AND
- Three years of experience in project management performing project life cycle work and proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and the highest quality standards OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities..
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and general office equipment.
Ability to perform routine and complex mathematical computations.
Ability to make decisions and exercise independent judgment with limited or no supervision.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with the changes in weather.
