Position: Camp Music & Arts Program Coordinator/Office Aid (Music Conservatory)

Position Type: Overnight Residential - Temporary Full-Time

Pay Rate: $400 weekly

About this opportunity:

Plans, coordinates, and directs program activities for the Conservatory Music & Creative Arts program; ensures the quality of programs and safety of youth at all times; provides guidance and role modeling to youth and ensures safety and a positive experience for campers. Aids in any administrative office needs.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assists in the delivery of conservatory program activities and events by ensuring the setup and preparation of facilities, cleanliness of program meeting spaces, availability of program supplies, and other duties.

 

  • Maintains discipline and acceptable behaviors of students, which will create an atmosphere of friendliness and security during all program periods, enabling all students to feel welcome and comfortable.

 

  • Assists the Divisional Music & Arts Director with organizing weekly staff/student recitals.

 

  • Assists guests with their program activities. Often responsible for the set-up/tear down and acquiring needed equipment/supplies.

 

  • Assists with various administrative office needs.

 

  • Is responsible for the care of program equipment/supplies, with necessary repairs or replacements immediately reported to the Divisional Music & Arts Director.

 

  • Participates and assists in various classes as assigned.  Provides constant care for the needs of the campers in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner. 

 

  • Participates enthusiastically as a member of the camp staff team to deliver and supervise evening programs, special events, overnights, and other all-camp activities and camp functions.

 

  • Sits with camper tables during meals and serve as a table monitor when needed.

 

  • Keeps workspace and personal living quarters neat and clean.

 

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Six months of professional experience preferred, or

 

  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Licenses and Certifications

  • CPR and First Aid Certified. Training will be provided at Camp.

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 60 lbs.). Work is performed in a summer camp environment where physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with grass, dirt, and the like may be possible. Work will involve some exposure to outdoor temperatures and varying environmental conditions, however most instruction will take place indoors and in a normal school and/or church environment.

Additional Information:

Camp Staff Orientation will be held June 10-15, 2025, and participation is required. The 2025 Summer Camp Program will be held June 16, 2025 – July 19, 2025. If you are unable to work the entire program session, please let us know on your application.

Camp Staff debrief will be held 07/20/2025 and participation is required.
