Facilities Project Manager
Location: Territorial Headquarters, Atlanta, GA
About this opportunity:
This position is responsible for assisting the Capital Renewal Plan Manager by planning, coordinating, monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating all aspects of Kroc Center Capital Renewal Plan projects including scope of work creation, RFP/procurement process, bid review, project execution, and project closeouts for all seven (7) Kroc Center properties throughout the Southern Territory.
Key responsibilities:
- Provides Project Management and oversight of construction, renovation, and repair for capital projects. Ensures properties are managed in compliance with regulatory and code requirements
- Conducts on-site project milestone inspections of Kroc Center properties to determine if finishes and systems are installed and operating properly. Inspect maintenance logs to ensure that finishes and systems are being entered into the CMMS and maintained according to the manufacturer's recommended standards.
- Examines and verifies all Kroc Capital Renewal Project proposals and related documents for accuracy and completeness, functional adequacy of the proposed solutions and/or equipment availability, and adequacy of capital funds.
What we are looking for in you:
- Two-year technical or associate degree from an accredited college or university in Project Management, Facility Management, Business, or a related field, AND
- Minimum of five years of experience performing a wide array of property project management work including the construction, maintenance, and renovation of a wide variety/types of properties with at least two years’ experience in a supervisory role. OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to interpret, analyze, and compute numbers.
Ability to keypunch information into a computer.
Ability to operate and answer the telephone.
Ability to perform routine and complex mathematical computations
Ability to make decisions and exercise independent judgment with limited or no supervision.
Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, and climb in order to conduct physical inspections of property.
Ability to travel throughout the Southern Territory on a frequent basis to work with divisional staff, contractors, and professionals of the local communities.
Ability to perform work that may cause mental and visual fatigue due to sustained periods of concentration, working under the pressure of deadlines, and continual interruptions in concentration.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with the changes in weather except when involved in onsite project reviews and inspections.
