The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a opening for a Custodian - Tennessee Territory, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Job Summary:

Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same daily.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning activities for buildings and grounds. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Education and Experience:

No formal education or experience is required. Six months of experience performing general housekeeping duties or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform housekeeping and minor maintenance work. Work requires the ability to lift and carry and push/pull light (less than 25lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Light mobility: duties are usually performed by a combination of standing, walking, and primarily sitting.
