Pay Rate:11.00/hour Position Type: Seasonal Full-time
Hours:9:00 am-:07:00 pm Monday – Saturdays
About this opportunity: Christmas Kettle Coordinator
Recruits, trains, coordinates, and monitors the work of employee bell ringers ensuring ample staff to meet location needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same; drives Salvation Army vehicle to drive kettle workers to and from locations and/or pick up kettles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meets with community leaders and organizations and discusses Salvation Army needs.
- Develop the driver routes for the pick and delivery of kettles and kettle workers; ensure all kettle workers are dropped off and picked up at the kettle location to which they are assigned according to the schedule.
- Plans, coordinates, and prepares special events; prepares plaques and certificates of recognition; prepares and maintains special event records for future reference.
- What we are looking for in you:
High School or G.E.D. and one year of experience working with kettle fundraising programs are preferred. or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver’s License
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a warehouse building with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or disagreeable sights and orders
