Job Summary

Bell Ringers assist The Salvation Army raise funds through its annual Red Kettle Campaign, which runs through the Christmas season.  This is a temporary position with hours ranging from part-time to full-time, depending on Bell Ringer’s availability.

 

Bell Ringers are assigned retail locations and will stand with The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle, ringing a bell, while greeting and thanking donors as they donate to The Salvation Army

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to arrive on time and stay on schedule. Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Ability to meet attendance requirements.

Ability to communicate the English language effectively.

Ability to stand throughout entire shift, with the exception of breaks, limited amount of lifting required for light to moderate (less than 50 pounds) objects (kettles).
