Location: Camp Hoblitzelle, Midlothian, TX

Position Type: Regular Full Time

Pay Range: $13.30 - $16.63/hour

About this opportunity:

Supervises, participates, instructs, and monitors the day-to-day general housekeeping of the entire Hoblitzelle Camp and Conference Center; cleans rooms; maintains the neatness and cleanliness of the resident facility on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervisory Responsibilities (25%)
  • Facilities  Cleaning Responsibilities (50%)
  • Laundry Responsibilities (20%)
  • Liaison Responsibilities (5%)

 

What we are looking for in you:

  • No formal education required, And Three years experience performing housekeeping work with at least one year lead worker or supervisory experience, Or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Valid State Drivers License

 

 

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

 

Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform the needed janitorial work. Ability to safely drive a vehicle. Duties are performed standing and requires squatting, climbing, bending and walking.   Any of the preceding duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting. Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) frequently. Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to dirt, dust, disagreeable sights and/or odors, and various temperatures.
