Angel Tree Worker_NE-KT_201-Christmas Kettles
Location: Knoxville Area Command, Knoxville, TN
About this opportunity:
Assists people who are interested in adopting an Angel off the Angel Tree. This includes the Angel’s ID number with info on the adopting donor including that person’s name, address and telephone number. Informs the adopting donor of the deadline when the unwrapped gift items are to be returned. Answers any questions about Angel Tree and other programs of The Salvation Army, calling the supervisor or the office, if necessary, to obtain accurate info. Displays a polite and courteous manner at all times. Assist with Angel Tree registration. Assist in preparing bags with gifts and distributing them on distribution day.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist people interested in adopting Angels and prepares tags to be distributed.
- Assist with Angel Tree Registration.
- Assist in preparing gift bags to be distributed.
- Assist on distribution day making sure packages are properly distributed.
What we are looking for in you:
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Manual dexterity. Ability to sit, walk and stand on a frequent change basis to perform the duties of this position. Ability to lift objects weighing between 25-50 lbs. Work may require driving a vehicle where there may be discomforts associated with heavy traffic or changes in weather.
