Location:  Chattanooga Metropolitan Area Command – Chattanooga, Tennessee

Position: Seasonal Full Time Christmas Driver - Bell Ringer

 

About this opportunity:

Drives Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers to and from kettle locations.

Split Shift Hours: 3 ½ hours in the morning & 3 ½ hours in the evening, 6 days a week.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Drive vehicles to transport bell ringers.

 

  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicle, truck and/or van inside and outside.

 

  • The incumbent may be requested to perform job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those stated in this job description.

 

What we are looking for in you:

 

Education and Experience

  • A High School diploma or GED preferred

 

Certifications/Licenses:

  •             A Valid Driver’s License

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Knowledge of the assigned geographic area.

 

Ability to organize route in a manner that saves time and gasoline consumption

 

Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers.

 

Ability to follow instructions.

Work requires driving a vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
