Director of Admissions
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Director of Admissions will assist in related marketing, budgeting and support activities key to the team’s performance and is responsible for achieving new student and start rate plans for their team. The incumbent may be asked to provide input by special request but does not serve directly to the Executive Leadership Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieves the new student plans for assigned team.
- Assists Senior Director of Admissions in establishing and forecasting plans and class outcomes.
- Assists in hiring of admissions staff, maintaining staffing plans, and oversees and assists in the training, development, motivation and ongoing management of such staff including quarterly reviews; new hire and veteran training; ongoing observations; turnover prevention via training and support provided.
- Responsible for conversations of inquiry to applicant, applicant to new student in conjunction with the primary Campus Admissions Head. (Campus President?)
- Support inquiry conversion and applicant loci-in and ensures compliance with all school standards, ethical standards, and compliance with all federal, state and accreditation requirements.
- Assist in training and development of Associate Directors of Admissions to ensure their overall success.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required, Master’s preferred
- 7 years’ experience of increasingly responsible experience in managing a sales effort, particularly admissions recruitment or intangible products.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business equipment. Siting for a long period of time; up to 8 hours of computer and/or phone work daily.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Majority of work is performed in a general office environment.
