If so, we would like to talk to you about joining our team as the Skilled Nursing Admissions & Infection Control Nurse.  Touchmark on South Hill is Spokane’s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities.

Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00AM - 6:00PM or 11:00AM - 7:00PM

As the Development/Infection Control Nurse you must possess leadership skills that demonstrate ability to plan, direct, and supervise team members.  You will develop and cultivate good relationships with discharge planners of our referral sources.  You will develop and implement training programs for licensed staff to ensure staff are providing the required high-quality resident care. 

Requirements:

  • An LPN/RN license
    At least two years' experience in an administrative role
    Availability to work weekends and/or flexible hours
  • Experience working with seniors is preferred  
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a genuine interest in working with a senior population
  • Collects, prepares, and analyzes HAI data
  • Present infection data and makes recommendations for actions
  • Knowledgeable of Infection Prevention and Control practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in the post-acute care facility
