POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under guidance of manager and other HR functional experts is responsible for processing and resolving standard and less complex employee & manager inquiries on a wide variety of HR policies and programs. Implement and execute day to day HR programs, policies and practices. Requires knowledge of a wide range of HR functions. This position is expected to apply the standard procedures in resolving inquiries and is expected to escalate complex issues within the HR function for resolution. This position is expected to help other team members, as time allows. Draws on competencies and policies to quickly resolve customer issues. This position uses the center’s tools and systems to appropriately handle the nature of the inquiry. 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Responsible for standard and less complex employee and manager inquires and requests and communicates resolutions and updates cases using case management tools 
  • Provide accurate, consistent and timely responses to HR process, system, and policy requests which are considered to be routine requests and require limited research 
  • Make any required customer follow-up calls and conducts additional research as necessary
  • Identifies and resolves the customer’s issues and anticipates future needs by explaining/suggesting/providing additional information that the customer needs to know in order to successfully perform their duties 
  • Refers complex cases requiring interpretation to appropriate Sr. Associate, Advisor or, if necessary, Sr. Consultant or COE representative 
  • Escalation to and partnership with HR Advisors and SME’s on complex issues Self Reliance Management 
  • Utilizes and with guidance from Sr. Associates updates knowledge base tools to provide consistent answers to customers 
  • Assist Sr. Associates & HR Technology Specialists to update and maintain knowledge-based FAQ’s, solutions, and troubleshooting guides HR COE & Program Management Support 
  • Assist Sr. Associates & HR program manager in the areas of Relocation, Leave Management, Immigration & Severance processing 
  • Research, source and screen candidates for high volume lower complexity business unit positions 
  • Responsible for enterprise day one & the new hire onboarding program 
  • Acts as a liaison for First Contact with the technology specialists, program manager and/or COE’s leads as applicable. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Under guidance/supervision from more experienced colleagues and manager 
  • A minimum 1-3 years of related experience in similar role or customer service role 
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing 
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail 
  • Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite 
  • Excellent time management and customer service skills
