Bilingual Therapist- Telehealth

JOB SUMMARY


The bilingual mental health therapist provides counseling through face to face and telehealth means to our Spanish-speaking client population.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


· Providing mental health counseling using evidence based and trauma informed approaches of care to adults, children and adolescents


· Individualized Service Plan development


· Provide crisis intervention as necessary to enhance and restore functioning.


· Intake/Orientation of new clients


· Complete all necessary intake screenings and Assessment


· Maintain working relationships with other social service organizations; help market The Centers’ programs


· Maintain timely and complete clinical records


· Identify service gaps and make appropriate referrals


· Perform other duties as assigned


JOB QUALIFICATIONS


· Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Related Field


· Licenses: LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC or MFT


· Languages: Must be fluent in Spanish


· Experience: Experience with diagnostic assessment and counseling with individuals and groups, experience with diagnostic assessment and counseling with individuals and groups preferred.


· Knowledge: Working knowledge of the states of growth and development and family dynamics


· Skilled at use of DSM V for diagnosis of mental disorders.


· Training and/or experience with use of evidence based practices


· Good oral and written communication skills


· Ability to make sound decisions under stressful conditions


· Demonstrated clinical skills and an ability to organize and prioritize tasks


· Understand and accept a systems approach to service delivery and agency and program philosophy and goals.


· Ability to work in partnership with other team members
