Job Summary: The Resiliency Counselor provides support and guidance to employees of the youth residential services Hope Campus through the delivery of non-medical assessment, consultation, education and triage services.  Provides clinical expertise in order to restore employees  with diminished performance to healthy functioning.  

  

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Provides employee and management consultation related to specific personal problems and workplace/management problems and concerns.
  • Provides crisis assessment and intervention, referrals to EAP, staff webinars, critical incident response and health and wellness trainings as needed.
  • Completes timely clinical and administrative documentation and required forms in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Manages caseload and other tasks to meet both qualitative and quantitative performance expectations. 
  • Provides information and referral to community resources as appropriate. 
  • Participates in activities as requested that help improve employee(s) performance, excellence and culture. 
  • Supports team members and participates in team activities, including trainings, to assist in building a high-performance team. 
  • Assuming responsibility for identifying individual and/or team’s operational challenges and/or inefficiencies and recommending possible continuous improvement plans to support department and company mission.  
  • Create an open and inviting environment, reflecting diverse life experiences, free of judgment. 
  • Develops workshops on wellness, positive coping skills, and resiliency for employees.   
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to create groups and opportunities for employees to maintain workplace resilience and increase mental and emotional fitness. 
  • Assess employee morale and give recommendations to leadership to improve morale.

Job Qualifications  

  • MFT, LISW or LPCC in Ohio in good standing 
  • Experience working in a clinical setting with those experiencing illness, trauma, and disability 

Salary

  • $60,000-$75,000
 

Supervisory 

This position does not provide supervisory support to employees. 

Physical Demands/Work Environment 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. Travel and work outside of normal hours may be required for meetings, presentations, trainings and other events.
