Position Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

What you’ll do:

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department and prepare for shipping.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Assists in billing process.
• Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers by location.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.

 About you:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Lo que harás:

• Lee el cronograma de produccin, el pedido del cliente, la orden de trabajo, la orden de envío o la requisicin para determinar los artículos que se deben mover, reunir o distribuir.
• Transporta materiales y artículos desde las áreas de recepcin o produccin hasta el almacenamiento u otras áreas designadas.
• Ordena y coloca materiales o artículos en estantes, estanterías o contenedores de acuerdo con una secuencia predeterminada, como tamaño, tipo, estilo, color o cdigo de producto.
• Ordena y almacena productos perecederos en cámaras refrigeradas.
• Llena requisiciones, rdenes de trabajo o solicitudes de materiales, herramientas u otros artículos en existencia y distribuye los artículos a los trabajadores de produccin o la línea de ensamblaje.
• Reúne los pedidos de los clientes a partir del stock y coloca los pedidos en paletas o estanterías o transmite los pedidos a la estacin de empaque o al departamento de envío y los prepara para el envío.
• Marca los materiales con informacin de identificacin.
• Abre fardos, cajas y otros contenedores.
• Registra las cantidades de materiales o artículos recibidos o distribuidos.
• Pesa o cuenta los artículos para su distribucin dentro de la planta a fin de garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares de la empresa.
• Colabora en el proceso de facturacin.
• Organiza las piezas en existencia en la secuencia especificada para que las ensamblen otros trabajadores por ubicacin.
• Utiliza la computadora para ingresar registros.
• Compila hojas de trabajo o tickets a partir de las especificaciones del cliente.
• Conduce un vehículo para transportar los artículos almacenados desde el almacén hasta la planta o para recoger artículos de varias ubicaciones para su envío. 

Acerca de usted:

• Diploma de escuela secundaria o título de educacin general (GED); o de uno a tres meses de experiencia y/o capacitacin relacionada; o una combinacin equivalente de educacin y experiencia.
