Janitorial Summer Cleaning Techs

The Budd Group is hiring additional Housekeepers for the summer months to help reset this beautiful campus for the 2025-26 academic year!!

Title: Summer Flips Cleaning Tech

Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Occasional Weekends Required)

Pay Rate:$13.00 per hour

Location: HPU Campus - Campus Residence Halls

Role & Responsibilities: The Primary role for this position is to assist the Housekeeping team in resetting the campus for the new Academic Year. This includes any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor. Job description subject to change.

• Cleans bathrooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms, space etc., vacuuming carpet, wet mopping Floors, trash removal, dusting, glass cleaning, stocking restroom supplies, soap & towel dispensers.

• Self-motivated, able to perform the duties of the job without supervision. ​Dependable and neat in appearance. ​

• Able to operate various types of equipment and machinery, which include wet vacuums, hand trucks, vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, floor buffers, automatic scrubbers, etc.

• Assists in the completion of the workload in the absence of other service workers.

• Reports any malfunctions / maintenance problems to the supervisor. Discusses work problems and/or schedule problems with supervisor and / or management. May be required to lock and / or unlock doors. Attends training meetings and sessionsas directed.

Physical Demands:

The employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with arms and hands. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. The employee must lift / move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
