Hourly - Mechanic

Landscape Mechanic Position 🔧

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Landscape Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain various automotive and small engine equipment. This includes pumps, compressors, trenchers, tractors, heavy equipment, and trucks used in landscaping and maintenance. 🚜

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Disassemble and overhaul engines, pumps, transmissions, and other components.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including brake adjustments, wheel alignments, and lubrication.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on vehicles and small engines.
• Repair and service equipment for storage.
• Perform service calls and parts pickup as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or small engine repair.
• Ability to interpret manuals and diagrams.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including noise.

Additional Information:

• Monday - Friday work week, 7am-3pm
• Hourly pay based on experience.
