The Budd Group is seeking a motivated and dependable Temporary Seasonal Landscape Crew Member to join our team.  This position involves assisting with various landscaping tasks during the busy spring and summer months.  The ideal candidate will be able to work outdoors, perform physically demanding tasks, and contribute to maintaining and improving the appearance of campus facilities in Rome, GA:

Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (some overtime or weekends)
Pay Rate:  Competitive Hourly Wage
Location: Rome, GA

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES AND FUNCTIONS

• Assist with lawn care, including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing.
• Plant, water, and maintain flower beds, trees, and shrubs.
• Help with mulching, weeding, and general yard cleanup.
• Load and unload landscaping materials such as soil, mulch, and plants.
• Operate basic landscaping equipment like lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and leaf vacuums.
• Perform irrigation system maintenance, including checking and adjusting sprinklers.
• Assist with hardscaping tasks such as installing patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Follow safety guidelines and best practices in all landscaping activities.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, ensuring their needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in landscaping or outdoor work.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfort working in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
