(Summer Seasonal) Senior Greenskeeper

Summary 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Greenskeeper to maintain the beauty and functionality of Osprey Meadows Golf course. Osprey Meadows is a Robert Trent Jones ll designed championship golf course that overlooks cascade lake while tucked in the West Mountain wilderness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong understanding of Golf Course Maintenance practices. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure that Turf health, lawns, Bunkers and landscapes are well-kept and thriving. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  

• Perform regular greenskeeper activities, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing. 

• Operate commercial equipment, mowers, aerators, tractors, top dressers etc. 

• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for golf maintenance tasks. 

• Monitor the health of Turfgrass and landscapes, identifying any issues that require attention. 

• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE    

• Previous experience in Golf Course Maintenance, groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred. 

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to lawn care and landscaping. 

• Knowledge of Turfgrass principles, including plant care and irrigation techniques 

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work. 

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. 

• Effective communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS    

• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance.  

• Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 8 hours per day, at least 40 hours per week.  

• Must be available and willing to work weekends and holidays.  

• Requires various physical activities throughout the day.  

• Works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.  

• Includes lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 80 pounds.  

• Requires walking more than 5 miles a day.
