(Summer Seasonal) Golf Course Greenskeeper

Summary 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Greenskeeper to maintain the beauty and functionality of Osprey Meadows Golf course. Osprey Meadows is a Robert Trent Jones ll designed championship golf course that overlooks cascade lake while tucked in the West Mountain wilderness.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong understanding of Golf Course Maintenance practices. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure that Turf health, lawns, Bunkers and landscapes are well-kept and thriving

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  

• Perform regular golf maintenance, including mowing, trimming, raking to maintain healthy grass and plants.  

• Ability to rake bunkers appropriately according to playability  

• Maintain all Turfgrass areas by planting, pruning, weeding, and mowing, as necessary.  

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various Greenkeeping tasks.  

• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, edging, and leaf removal.  

• Ensure all groundskeeping equipment is maintained in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing.  

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE   

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is welcomed but not required 

• Familiarity with Golf course equipment and maintenance practices is a bonus 

• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely; training will be provided as needed. 

• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics in outdoor spaces. 

• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions. 

• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills related to groundskeeping. 

EDUCATION  

High school or above   

PHYSICAL DEMANDS    

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods.  

• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.  

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.  

• Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.  

• Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate landscaping equipment and tools.  

• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
