SUMMARY   

Tamarack Resort is seeking a highly organized and proactive All Resorts Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a variety of projects and tasks across different departments to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the resort. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

  • Work the following roles: Lift Operations, Ticket Checking, Retail, Rental, Ticket & Product Sales, Restaurant Crew, Parking attendant, and Base Area Operator   
  • Act as a flexible resource for various projects and events  
  • Follow procedures and guidelines to stay safe and keep your team safe – your safety is our priority    
  • Commit to guest satisfaction and assume responsibility for guest care and solving problems  
  • Answer guest questions by becoming a resort operations and services expert  
  • Other duties as assigned   

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays   
  • Willingness to work 35 to 40+ hours per week (full-time)    
  • Must be able stand outside in a mountain environment for long periods of time  
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English  
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs   

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in a resort or large-scale hospitality environment. 
  • Familiarity with resort operations and guest services. 

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS  

Requires possession of a valid Driver's license with a driving record meeting the minimum standards needed by the Resort’s insurance carrier.  

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS  

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. 

 

OTHER SKILLS  

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, exceptional Excel skills, comfort with multiple sales platforms.   Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be able to participate in outdoor recreational activities on a regular basis.  Working outdoors in all different types of weather is a daily occurrence as well.  The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and taste or smell.  The employee is occasionally required to sit.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
