What does an Employee Relations & Leave Specialist at Swire Coca-Cola do?
As an Employee Relations & Leave Specialist you will provide valuable support to our Employee Relations Partners and Leave and Accommodation Partners when triaging ER or leave/accommodation cases, as well as partnering with managers on corrective actions and closing out cases. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain Employee Relations experience and find an opportunity that provides future career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly reviews email inquiries from leaders and employees, creates cases in our case management system, and assigns the case to the appropriate ER or Leave & Accommodation Partner
- Partners with leaders on certain types of corrective actions, ensuring that we are following our progressive corrective action policy and being consistent with past practice
- Follows up with leaders on the completion of corrective actions, ensuring a proper and complete resolution
- Uploads corrective actions and other important documents to electronic personnel files
- Provides administrative support to our Leave & Accommodation Partner, ensuring that documentation supporting leaves and accommodation requests are received and properly stored
- Assists ER Partners with investigations as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1+ years of general HR experience
- Ability to quickly learn ER and LOA policies and best practices
- Ability to quickly learn investigation processes and best practices
- Ability to communicate clearly during difficult conversations and reduce tension
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with managers and others within the organization
