Position Title: Inventory Control Supervisor

Exempt Status: Exempt

Accountable to: Director of Facilities and Compliance

Job Summary: The Inventory Control Supervisor will work out of the Stanz location and will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory levels in the Stanz and Goshen distribution center, and ensuring teams are working in a safe, accurate, efficient, and productive manner. The inventory control supervisor will follow all food safety and defense policies/procedures to ensure compliance. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Complete inventory cycle counts
  • Investigate and resolve shortages, overages, and mis-pick discrepancies
  • Complete paperwork and key all information into warehouse management system (NAV)
  • Balance inventory between outside storage facility and the DC
  • Maintain organization of the shift by assigning tasks and creating a cycle counting schedule for the facility
  • Organize new and discounted bins to ensure smooth operation of order selection
  • Utilize system to update inventory, research discrepancies, and slot new items 
  • Oversee payroll/time and attendance of employees
  • Effectively and proactively communicate with employees, Category Managers, and various departments
  • Coach, train, and support team goals and initiatives
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to understand and perform each job within the Distribution Center
  • Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Suite and data entry systems
  • Experience with warehouse management systems preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as bending, lifting and standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Must possess strong basic math and administrative skills
  • Willing to work in a freezing temperature environment for a long period of time (PPE provided)

Education & Experience:

  • Previous leadership working in a distribution center preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
