Responsible for overseeing the general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of bank facilities. Contacts and directs vendors activities to ensure proper functioning of bank properties. Conducts preventative checks and provides minor maintenance as needed. Coordinates with the Sr. Maintenance Manager to help manage the day-to-day efforts of contractors as they perform work throughout the bank. Manages assigned staff and performs yearly evaluations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Make independent decisions with minimal or no supervision.
  2. Perform and oversees maintenance of bank properties to insurer they are in good working order by performing regular inspections.
  3. Schedules and manages outside vendors as needed and monitors the completion of work performed.
  4. Solicit repair quotes from vendors for approval by management.
  5. Prepare and approve vendors invoices for payment.
  6. Help in the development and management of annual operating budgets for bank properties.
  7. Manage assigned employees to ensure goals and objectives are carried out.
  8. Complete and maintain required maintenance documentation and records.
  9. Travel to bank properties periodically to make repairs and check vendor progress.
  10. Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training. 

SECONDARY DUTIES

The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

The position is responsible for the supervision of all office employees and is expected to provide leadership, training and support to staff members. 

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

The incumbent is in a non-confined office setting in which they are free to move about at will.  In the course of performing the duties and responsibilities of this position spends time writing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), sitting, typing on a computer keyboard, and standing, kneeling and reaching.

The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine, computer and related printers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

These specifications are guidelines based on the minimum experience required to perform the essential functions of the job.  Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a related position.
  • Have strong skills in all areas related to the maintenance and operation of company owned and leased properties.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees in a polite and professional manner.
  • Ability to multitask and follow up with employees on issues.
  • Ability to operate PC - MS Outlook programs.
  • Valid Driver's License - dependable transportation
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. or more.
