The ACH Program Manager is responsible for working with the various departments to ensure the ACH Policy, Risk Assessments and overall program is in compliance with NACHA Operating Guidelines.  The manager will look at any system enhancements and new NACHA rules changes and be oversite for the banks program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform annually updates to the ACH Policy to be within compliance of changes to NACHA Rule and changes to product offerings.
2. Complete annual ACH risk assessment to ensure all departments that have ACH responsibilities for ACH Origination and ACH Receiving points are being monitored.
3. Ensure all departments who have ACH functions have policies and procedures established for ACH responsibilities and they meet the NACHA guidelines which include Treasury Management Sales and Operations, Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Collections and Credit.
4. Keep management and operational departments informed of rules changes and how they would impact the bank.
5. Work with departments on new product offerings.
6. Prepare ACH reports for various committees of the board.
7. Be a resource of operational areas for ACH training or guidance.
8. Perform testing of the established bank wide ACH procedures outside of normal ACH annual audit to ensure NACHA rules are being followed.
9. Work with Auditors on all ACH audit requests and findings.
10. Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training.

SECONDARY DUTIES

The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position is not responsible for the supervision of staff.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Maintain the AAP – Accredited ACH Professional certification.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Work related experience must consist of ACH Operations or Treasury Services in support in the financial services industry.  Educational experience, through formal school or financial industry related curriculum, is required to be applicable to the financial industry.
