Summary

This position is in the Bureau of Managed Long-Term Care (BMLTC) plan management unit. The incumbent will be responsible to provide MLTC plan management level oversight and information to applicants and contractors, assist in resolution of long-term service and support issues by interpreting MLTC Program guidelines for both internal and external stakeholders, and support the development and implementation of the MLTC program initiatives and regulations resulting from legislative or administrative MLTC related actions. 

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Acting as a MLTC liaison with other units, draft correspondence, conduct project management activities related to MLTC program compliance and develop and improve BMLTC procedures.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders including executive leadership, quality and patient safety, fiscal oversight, technical assistance and fair hearing, Medicaid MLTC systems, and MLTC plan contractors. 

Job Duties to Include:

  1. Assist senior managers in the DHPCO with a broad range of planning, implementation, reporting, evaluation and Plan Management activities. 
  2. Act as a MLTC liaison with other units, draft correspondence and conduct project management activities related to MLTC program compliance.
  3. Assist in the development of Medicaid policy guidelines, procedures, and documentation to facilitate program operations.
  4. Assist in the evaluation of Medicaid legislation and programs.
  5. Provide technical assistance to local social service districts, State agencies, clients, health care providers, advocacy groups, and professional organizations.
  6. Provide development, training and technical assistance to providers and other stakeholders.
  7. Supervise staff, as appropriate. 
  8. Other activities as may be deemed necessary in response to the changing needs of DHPCO.

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

  1. Working knowledge of Medicaid
  2. Strong analytical and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  3. The ability to think creatively and strategically.

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 Years’ Experience

 

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
