The Basics
Location: You will based in the Midwest and the work will take place at various grain elevators, flour mills and soybean processing plants located throughout the Midwest and in North Carolina. This position will require travel to all locations
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Days/Hours: Typically, you will work Monday-Friday and you are home most weekends Occasional work over weekends, although rare, does occur
Equipment Used: Various diagnostic, repair and install tools

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead electrical projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion according to specifications
- Design and install conduit systems (rigid, EMT, flexible, etc.) for a variety of electrical applications
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems (e.g., PLC, relays, motor starters, drives).
- Install and maintain network cables, including structured cabling systems (Ethernet, fiber optics, etc.)
- Create and provide detailed drawings of electrical, conduit, and network cable designs
- Ensure strict adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain a high standard of safety in all work performed
- Supervise and guide a team of electricians, providing technical expertise and leadership
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, budgets, and design drawings
- Conduct quality control assessments and inspections
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- Minimum of [5+] years of experience as an electrician, including experience with control systems, conduit system design and installation, and network cable installation
- Certified/licensed electrician
- Strong experience with control systems (PLC, Relays, Motor Starters, Drives, etc.)
- Proven ability to design and install conduit systems and network cabling, and create detailed design drawings
- Solid knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and ability to work safely and in compliance with safety regulations
- Project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical documents, and create drawings
- Prefer experience in industrial or commercial settings
- Prefer familiarity with relevant electrical codes, cabling standards, and safety protocols

- You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders and stairs
- You will be required to wear PPE which will include respirators in certain areas
- Will be exposed to the weather, including extreme heat and/or cold, wind, rain, snow, and other adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to walk for extended periods over uneven surfaces
- You will be exposed to various site hazards, including but not limited to loud noises and flashing lights, dust and fumes, hazardous materials, heavy equipment and machinery, and other situations specific to the work and location
