About the Role
The Preschool Mandarin Teacher is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that will develop and implement an instruction plan for young students in our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms, emphasizing vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The hours will be 9 am-6 pm. The role is a full-time position (40 hours).

From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, you will get a chance to help preschool and pre-K classes on a need basis.

You will also

Plan, supervise, and implement the Mandarin curriculum in After-School
Maintain the Mandarin curriculum and materials at your school
Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
Communicate regularly with parents, school leaders, and other staff as appropriate

After School Teacher

As a Mandarin Preschool After School Teacher at Stratford School, you will work as part of a team to develop a plan of age-appropriate activities for the Preschool students in our after-school immersion program.

The emphasis will be on songs, stories, hands-on activities, vocabulary, listening, speaking, and much more. This person must be professionally prepared to teach Mandarin to young children (3-5 years). The hours will be 3:30pm-6pm with a preparation hour from 2pm-3:15pm.

What We Are Looking For

Twelve post-secondary semester or equivalent quarter units in Early  Childhood   Education or
related field at an accredited college or university
A Bachelor’s degree in Early Child Development or related field is preferred
Six months or more experience working in a childcare center or program
Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English language
Must be able to work in the U.S.
