About the Role

The Summer Camp Counselor role at The Wood Acres School is an engaging and dynamic opportunity ideal for individuals passionate about child development and education. Counselors are expected to lead a variety of camp activities, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and productive experience for all campers.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and leading educational and recreational activities
  • Fostering a positive, safe, and engaging camp environment
  • Encouraging teamwork and leadership among campers
  • Collaborating with fellow staff to deliver a high-quality camp experience

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus
  • Preferred certifications in CPR and First Aid
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and contributing to their growth
