Senior Financial Analyst
Spring Education Group is a multi-brand education network of superior private school institutions spanning infant care through high school. The network (currently composed of approximately 220 schools) brings together some of the best private school programs in the country, with proven track records educating children through unique and carefully crafted curricula.
Spring Education Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and keep pace with the rapid growth of our organization. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple lines of business, gaining exposure to a variety of business models within our network of schools. You will play a key role in evolving and refining FP&A processes to enhance the organization's financial visibility and decision-making. Your expertise in data and financial modeling will have a direct impact on our Financial Planning & Analysis team, helping drive critical business decisions.
Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst is a vital member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team. This role is responsible for building budgets, monitoring monthly results, forecasting future performance, and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and an operational mindset, coupled with experience working with large, complex data sets. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the company’s financial reporting and performance measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise reporting, corporate analysis, and core FP&A processes.
- Support senior leaders in expense management and analysis.
- Develop and support financial performance reviews, variance analysis, and forecasts.
- Build and refine financial models for forecasting and business cases.
- Assist the FP&A team with standard and ad-hoc reporting, management presentations, and business initiatives.
- Increase productivity by developing automated applications, eliminating redundancies, and coordinating information requirements.
- Consolidate business unit performance and evaluate submissions from an enterprise perspective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- 2+ years of progressive professional experience in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar EPM software is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill data into clear, strategic, and actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent tasks successfully.
