Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. Our locations span a nationwide geographic footprint and a diverse array of pedagogical approaches — including our proprietary Links to Learning curriculum that draws from the collective expertise of renowned early-age educators such as Dewey, Piaget and Vygotsky; Montessori schools that embrace both accredited Montessori methods – AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) and AMS (American Montessori Society); and progressive language immersion programs in Mandarin and Spanish.

LEPORT MONTESSORI, part of the Spring Education Group family of schools, is seeking a passionate Montessori educator to run our Parent & Child program. This position is responsible for teaching parents about basic Child Development as well as Montessori Theory and Practice in a Montessori classroom. Learn more about our Parent & Child Program.

Employment Status: Part-Time (Estimated 20 hours a week)
Location: Ability to travel to various campuses in Irvine and Huntington Beach required (travel reimbursement avaialble)

Schedule: Some weekday afternoons and weekend mornings required

Pay Range: $30-$35/hr

The Essentials...

Montessori 0-3 year old Certification required (AMI or AMS preferred)

Classroom Experience (3+ years) required

Experience leading parent education classes preferred

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Ability to work with campus leaders, management, & administration

Excellent time management skills

Experience developing parent focused lessons specific to preschool age topics

Ability to embrace and exemplify both the Montessori philosophy & Spring Education Group’s core mission
